Menin Family History
Nearly Half a Century of Entrepreneurial History
In 1979, Rubens Menin founded MRV Engenharia, a real estate developer focused on affordable housing in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Over the decades, MRV grew into the largest residential developer in the country, expanding into more than 100 cities and delivering over 500,000 units to date.
Building on his success, Rubens and his family strategically diversified beyond construction, investing in financial services, media, and sports, both domestically and internationally. Their entrepreneurial vision led to the creation of three public companies, along with controlling stakes in several other private companies.
Since launching AHS Residential (now Resia) in 2012, the Menin family has steadily expanded its presence in the United States. In 2024, Menfis was established to begin their next stage of expansion in the country.
